About Circle Square Childcare

Our Philosophy

We at Circle Square Childcare view all our children to be Mighty Learners. We believe that each child has the right to foster and grow their own learning. Each child learns at their own pace, and in their own time.

Our Educators take on the role of co-learners with our children, in that we all learn together.

We base our curriculum on Flight- Alberta's Early Learning and Care Framework Curriculum.

We will create an open and bright learning experience for all children, no matter race, religion, gender, or family dynamic.

We strive to make sure each child meets the requirements for their age, and are ready for school when the time comes.

We strive to make sure that all the children have their needs met in every area; social, physical, intellectual, cognitively, and emotionally.

Our staff at Circle Square Childcare are highly trained and experienced in child care. They are passionate about working with children and are committed to providing the best possible care and education for your child.

Our Program

We offer a variety of planning at Circle Square Childcare to meet the individual needs and interests of each child. Our program includes infant care under 12 months and up to 6 years of age or entry into grade 1.

Our Accolades

For the past 3 years running we have been voted as one of the best daycare centres in Red Deer though the Community votes and Red Deer Best of Awards, voted by parents and community members. We were also a finalist in the Best New Business in 2022 voted in through the Red Deer Chamber of Commerce. Most recently in 2025 we have been nominated for a Canadian Choice Award which is Nation wide for one of the best daycares' across Canada!

Ms. Elece Boruck

Owner and Program Director

Ms. Elece has worked in childcare for over 20 years in Red Deer. She has worked in a variety of centres before opening Circle Square Childcare in 2021.

She has completed her Level 3 ELCC diploma and also holds a certificate in FLIGHT and as an Educational Assistant.

Miss Tawnya

Assistant Director/ Penguin Room

Miss Tawnya has worked with Circle Square Childcare for over 2 years. In this time she has worked in various rooms and has worked her way up to Assistant Director. Miss Tawnya does the tours for the centre and is who all our families meet first!

She has a passion for all children, and loves them just like her own! She is fun and happy and loves to goof aro

Miss Ikrame

Koala Room

Miss Ikrame is also one of the teachers in our Koala room. She loves to set up sensory and crafts for the babies.

She takes them for walks and to play in the yard, and is super calm when they all start to cry at the same time!

Mr. Harnidh

Koala Room

Mr. Harnidh has also been with us over a year. He too started out as a practicum student that amazed us so much we just had to keep him!

Mr. Harnidh just finished his ELCC diploma and is now a level 3 educator. After a short stint in our Pre-K room we learned that Mr Harnidh has a huge passion for our older babies! He loves to take amazing photos of the kids for the families to

Miss Jap

Hippo Room

Miss Jap is working in our Hippo room. She started with us in the Koala room and did such a great job with the kids and staff that we gave her a new room! She has worked hard to make the room fun and inviting. Miss Jap also writes amazing learning stories for the parents that you see throughout the hallways. She is always doing dance parties with the kids too!

Miss Sukh

Hippo Room

Miss Sukh has been hanging out in our Hippo room jamming away with the kids like a rock star. Miss Sukh loves to get creative with the children and has great connections with families throughout the centre. You will see Miss Sukh most evenings as she works one of our late shifts.
